Italy are bossing possession but it could go either way. Quite pacy for an opening game, both teams want it.

Italy looking better but too much fannying about around the area, someone needs to shoot, both goalies have not really been tested (not for Covid).

HT. The match set off well but both teams cancelling each other out, someone needs to come up with a different tactic. Italy still looking good to win but only just. The first half petered out, hopefully the second will start with the same high tempo of the first 30 mins. Nothing to frighten England so far.

Own goal, that was a change in tactics, 1-0 Italy and deserved given their dominance I suppose. hopefully the game will open up now and more goals will be forthcoming.
