The confidence of being a goal up has told and Italy make it two. As they say in footie clichés the next goal is crucial.

hope there's more, not nice if the games decided on it.

it was a cross from the bye line basically which hit the defender but if he'd let it go there was an Italian forward waiting to tap it in.

Not a brilliant game but better than a lot of tournament openers I've seen, it's been an open game with italy dominating but both teams defending well. Italy's goalie though has not had much to do.

    .. almost 3 then.

looking for a good film now to end the night.

Game over 3-0. Italy's finishing has not been clinical, they've wasted chances but it was one way traffic after the first goal, Turkey never posed a threat. It was like watching an England victory, good but not convincing.

Only saw the last 20 minutes or so because Rugby League takes preference over International football for me these days.
Good to see the Turkish keeper playing it out from the back ---such a shame that Italy scored from it!
I could just imagine that happening at the Turf if Popey had been to blame.

Cheers Kriti....Turk should've let it go - those tap-ins go anywhere but the back of the net these days.

I was impressed by the Italians after they went 1-0 up, they increased the tempo even more and went after the 2nd goal. I suspect in a similar situation we'd have shut up shop, tried to play out time and been lucky to end with a draw.

are you talking about BFC sinkov or England, either way you're probably right.

England in this case Chris, but you're right, it could apply to the mighty Clarets as well.
