Have been fined £3.3 million each by the Premier league for trying to join a ESL.

Aye, they'll not do that again....

The 'big' 6 took the piss out of the PL publicly and this is their response.

It's like arranging to meet a lass for a date down the Coast, you turn up and she's asking this other bloke out so you say 'well....well....erm....you're paying for my Metro home!'

    Or something like that.

How long before they want the rules changed, So 2 of the big 6 has to be in every cup final. Killing the game off once and for all.

I would have given them at least double that penalty. It's like a child who has been brought up and his parents sacrificed everything to give him a start in life and when he eventually succeeds he wants to kick the parents and the younger kids out of the house.

They have not a shred of loyalty between them and even their own fans saw through their greed.

Remember once they thought they had made it they persuaded the Prem that they were too important for our club to become competitors against them.

Good luck to the likes of West Ham and Leicester who have got to the top the right way and I hope if the takeover succeeds we can emulate the likes of those two clubs and not the other greedy six.

The lovely and fair PL cracking down hard on their 6 darlings, A 10p deduction starting next season and i think we would all be happy but this is just pathetic.

Exactly. They won't feel £3.3 million that's just a shrug of the shoulders penalty whereas a points deduction would make them seriously think of a repeat.

It's the equivalent of ten weeks' wages for, say, a player like Ozil (when he was there).

The PL are SO desperate to keep on their right side that even when the've had their pants pulled down, they're still offering to bend over, saying 'please, Sir, can I have some more'.

Pathetic. Doesn't bode well for the takeover either, imo. Despite what they've had done to them, if the PL are this far up the 'big' 6's collective arse publicly then behind the scenes they'll be making sure there's no way another team can join their club.

    It's absolutely pathetic.

All this will do is embolden them.

That’ll send them running with their tails between their legs, off to lick their wounds and never again to suggest a super league.

It’s very clear now that only public opinion and supporters can stop this happening and no one else.
Take note the sheep at Newcastle.
