I read some of your posts, Chesterfield deserved everything they got, they were constantly wasting time, and using delaying tactics , did not know is was a cumulative 22 minutes though
The goal that won it for Notts came from a brilliant free kick from Rubens , and Ellis if you watch him, he starts from a neutral position ( probably why unmarked), then moves in, as the free kick comes in ( excellent )
I felt both chesterfield goals were poor from a Notts perspective, IB said the same , the first one of a silly push, it was a good goal , but i thought Rowe just got lucky, it went through a gap in the wall, and the power surprised Slocombe, their second although a good goal when it came to mandiville , should have never got into the area, Notts had several chances to tackle , or get the ball out, still IB said he was aware of that
Going forward Notts looked good, especially from set pieces ie corners, free kicks etc
Notts have a good record against Torquay, and a decent away record, that combined with Torquay have been weaker at home than away this season, they have been beaten a number of times on their own pitch by poor to mid teams, so Notts certainly have a chance
So fingers crossed, and hope we can get one step closer tomorrow, come on county
Torquay 1 Notts County 2
Up front we look better
