Great performance from the Italians and I really enjoyed their slick football .

I could hardly believe it when I saw that old warrior Chiellini in the Italian defence at 36 years of age .

He never put a foot wrong , brilliant defender .

As with ALL England squads since 1966 we have the players to win the tournament.
But unfortunately we haven’t had the management.
And I don’t think we have the management this time.
IMO - Southgate is as limp as a wet dish clart.
    I hope I’m wrong.

Wow, if Joe Dolce had come on and sung 'Shuddayup ar yar face', I would have been in tears lol.

But hey seriously, if they had sung 'Time to say goodbye' or 'Ave Maria', I would have been well choked up.

Nessun Dorma evoked memories of Italia 90. The first major football tournament I ever remember. Although nubdy beats the Pavarotti version I thought Andreas Bocelli was superb on Friday night.

'Time to say goodbye' was my grandfather's funeral song. My grandmother's choice was Rodrigos 'concierto de aranjuez'.

I quite like a bit of classical music. My choice would be Pachelbels Canon in D major.

Two proper left backs in the squad in Chilwell and Shaw and goes with Trippier who normally plays on the right .

Not a fan of the two holding midfielders either .

Good Luck Gareth , a poor display and lose the game and there's some pelters coming your way .
