In terms of young players, DA certainly seems annoyed. Sass-Davis's season has finished so he has no reason to delay. Mind you, he's been a 'fringe' player for a while. Griffiths still has games to think about. Perhaps he's thinking about Robbins or Onyeka?

Having now read the story, it looks like he means we've made offers of improved deals to young players not yet out of contract, not the kids on the fringes, because he likens them to Pez and Pixie, (and Owen Dale signed an improved deal last year of course - and Tom Lowery?) because it's rewarding performances *in the first team*. There are one or two possibilities there.
