    Scotland taking a knee

Scotland’s national team had decided to stand against racism, decision made.

Now they will stand in games at Hampden but take a knee at Wembley. What on earth is that all about?

difficult decision. Stand up against racism seemed to be a good response. Taking the knee seems to be saying more about society in general. Footballers are caught in the middle.

I hope the whole nonsense is consigned to history before the season starts. It will be booed when fans are in the grounds - kneeling or standing.

My feelings 're this pretty well documented on here.

All I'd add is footballers seem to have less of a backbone than I thought.

In my opinion this nonsense of taking the knee should have been stopped after the Stand up for Racism day that took place during the 2020-21 season.
