For a bet stretching almost a week, it was almost there. For all the excitement it created for me, I ended up losing a tenner. The wise man Grist did say cash out Brin but, I didn't heed the warning. Seriously, I truly thought we'd beat the Scots with ease but it just goes to show how football shouldn't be taken for granted. Actually I blame Southgate for such a poorly chosen team and sticking with his 'favourites'.
