I was going to post a couple of weeks ago that he should be expecting a call from the chairman if things didn't improve. The only reason I didn't was I couldn't remember his name. That bloke at Stevenage who scored that great goal for us at Wembley didn't quite sound right.

Chairman gave Alex Revell a vote of confidence last week, after Revell's assistant manager left the club.

But with the club not having a manager, he will take up the position of caretaker

Probably had enough with Scally at Pompey and looking to get out. I thought the Stevenage owner was a Multi Millionaire? They don't seem to be bringing any decent signings in of late, then again, Covid wiped a lot out for owners so they have to tread very careful going forward unless you want a Derby/Reading around your neck.

Reported that Barnsley are going to name 36 year old Poya Asbaghi, as their next manager,
Asbaghi currently in charge of Sweden's under-21 side.
Asbaghi was manager of IFK Goteborg 2018-2020, winning Swedish cup in 2019.
Ferran Sibilia who worked with Asbaghi at Goteborg, is thought to be coming in as his assistant.

Well Stevenage are no stranger to managers like this,they appointed graham Westley about 4 times.and in strange quirk they might have even asked revell about evans.let’s face it revell was practically under utilised by Scott same with Pringle who was frozen out completely .and he got them both back in and going and firing at the time…maybe that what’s needed at Stevenage..
