Very sad news about your mum, Grist and the heart attack must have seemed an unfair punishment after that.

Keep off the political posts on here to keep your blood pressure stable

Welcome back: we missed your wit.

May was a bit of a month to forget, early May my dear old mum had another series of strokes but this time she didn’t survive. So we had a funeral under covid restrictions with less attending than we would have liked to see there.

Then that was followed by yours truly having a quite nasty heart attack ( are there any nice ones?) which meant hospital treatment and now a period of rehabilitation.

But now my typing finger has recovered so you’ve got me to contend with again
Sorry to hear that pal that’s terrible news ...always glad to have you back

Thanks everyone for your good wishes.

A combination of bad genetics and bad habits seem to have caught up with me, but now I’ve a recovery plan to follow and the experts have told me to avoid excitement, so I should be ok to follow the Millers next season

According to some on here, England won't get you too excited either

    Nor the cricket team

Apologies Brin for not seeing your PM to me, it’s not something I check.

No problems pal, and yes the cricket team are an embarrassment, I watched some today.

And effectively we were playing the New Zealand 2nd eleven.

Just how many f words could you put in one sentence if you had managed to obtain a ticket for day 4 hoping to see live test cricket again?
