I have a black musician as my avatar, but firstly, let's get this out of the way. I'm not black, but if I was, the comments that were thrown my way would have been racist. Did you just assume I was black because of my avatar?

Also, Navy, what were you saying about my job that you know nothing about? Try and do something for a living?

Well, if teaching kids how to play music for 20 years and being a touring musician worldwide isnt trying then I dont know what is?

He has the right to not take the knee whether you like it or not. That in itself is not a racist comment, it can be an opinion that it is of no use or even detrimental, but it is everyone's personal choice. I would but it is a personal opinion and saying no does not make you less of a person or a racist person

It wasnt the fact that he was saying boo the knee. That's his opinion on what should be done. It's the fact he thought I was black and said "try doing something for a living" insinuating that black people are lazy. There were a couple of other comments but the thread was taken down (rightly so) because the comments were probably considered racist.

When have you ever seen a white player not take the knee? It's just not feasible. Bullied into taking it .
