    Christian Eriksen

I did not watch this game, but it seems the lad is lucky to still be alive.

I hope all of our prayers and/or best wishes are with him.

Good news all round. I was surprised they actually restarted and finished the game. 2 hours previously , he may have gone forever. One thing I do know , is that when him, Son and Kane were all on form, Spurs would destroy any opposition.

I remember watching the Mourinho documentary last year, on Netflix or Prime, Eriksen featured a lot because he wanted to leave and this was causing Spurs massive problems, so of course the film-makers zoomed in on this story. What was obvious was how highly regarded Eriksen was by everyone at Spurs, not just his team-mates. Mourinho told Levy he never had a problem with him, he was a model player, he wanted away but he knew he would still give 110% every game. Although it was going to cost them, they agreed they would have to let him go, basically because he was such a thoroughly decent, honest person, they couldn't stand in his way, they had to respect his wishes.
