For whatever the reason Ashley Young choose Aston Villa, I am quite happy he is not coming to Burnley, as I have said before we have had to many players coming here in the twilight of their careers and very few have in my opinion been successful signings.

It is now time to move on and for Pace to show us what he really intends for BFC. We are in urgent need of improving the first eleven in certain positions while there is a less urgent need in other positions. Still I remain hopeful that we can sign players to improve the starting eleven but not convinced it will happen.
