    Let the bidding commence

The Armstrong rumours have resurfaced again.
Norwich(unbelievable I know)west ham and Newcastle are in for his signature but all are bulking at the 20 million price tag.
I believe 12 million is more a realistic price but with a 40 percent sell on clause we need to get as much as possible.
Newcastle would be the smart option to sell to,thus avoiding the sell on clause but seem to be showing the least interest of the 3 involved.
We have a chance to heavily invest in the squad with this money,if and its a big IF he is sold early in the window.

One West ham fan page, thinks we will let him go for 8 million 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I cannot imagine we will drop to anywhere near that valuation.

He wont go and sit on a bench somewhere. He is too good for that. Equally, we juts do not need to sell him and take a huge loss. We will simply keep him and get another season out of him. If there is a deal to be done where we make £10/12m after giving Newcastle their share then we will do it. If not, he will stay. He isnt desperate to go, we are not desperate to sell him. If anyone really wants him, they stump up what we want and move on.
The best place (for us) for him to go is Newcastle. So we can strike a deal to get the best price. He will not go back there as I do not thin k he will start much for them. That's why he left.
He is as good if not better than Ollie Watkins, who went for around £28m.
he is as good if not better than Toney who would command a similar fee if he was to leave Brentford.
£8m will get his left leg. We will want around £25m and can afford to play hard ball if we want.
