Horrible set of cnuts save our longest trip for new years day. Good to know they are still looking after the supporters interest. Most of december looks daunting but I suppose you got to play these fixtures at some time

So...Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester or Liverpool were all possible New Year's Day destinations and we get Southampton??
What a fcuking joke.
Aye - joke, amazing how this type of thing always happens . . .
End of the season, we better have our house in order because last 4 games will be tough.
In Bruce, we trust.
I feel sick.
Back in the Sixties / Seventies the holiday fixtures always seemed to be the most local possible.
I remeber that one year we played Boro home and away over the Christmas and another Sheffield Wednesday.
If they could do that back then, with just paper and pencil, why not now with their sophisticated software or super-intelligent computers?
Maybe in those days they just cared a bit more about the fans?
We often had the Mackem fixtures over the Christmas holidays both home and away.
Same as the two Sheffield clubs as well as both Mancs when they were in the same divisions, not to mention all of the London clubs fixtures.
They seemed to consider the problems and costs of travel for fans in those days more, and travel was difficult and lengthy then.
The same considerations were usually taken over the two Easter fixtures too.
