    First friendly

Barnsley running out 2-1 winners at Rochdale. Morris and kitching in the first half. Morley pulling one back from the spot on the 2nd half.

Sounds like we had a first half team and a one for the second .

A bit of a stroll in the sunshine for the first 45 minutes and much more competitive in the second .

I understand we played out from the back and with far more focus on keeping possession with some crisp passing .

Nice to get a game in our legs as we move towards the real stuff next month .

Sounds like the playing surface was excellent let's hope the same can be said for Grove Street this season. Nice to get a win in the first friendly game. Woodrow captain first half, Fowls up next.

Come on then Rasca man lol, get the free highlights posted up on here for us all to see ehh.

Im glad to hear that we are back into the swing of things again, and are playing the pre season matches again at long last.
These international summer tournaments are great for us as England fans of course, but we're back to the nitty gritty again now aren't we. Come on Burnsley Fc (soz, thats become a habit now after chatting with the Burnley footymad fans for way too many years now lol)!!.

It sounds like an experimental set up at Rochdale and regardless of the result, Im interested to hear of the ideas that the team apparently tried to play. Like some more possession and some more or better passing from the back etc.
And Im pleased to see Carlton Morris scored, this lad really could be important for us this season!.
