Personably if I was Lai to get out of the mess - I would offer Fat Sam what he’s worth and he would return for sure or go begging to Wilder. That means investment though so he won’t!

Perhaps Lai should look at Sunderland who are a bigger club than us and see their fall from grace!

We were an established Premier League club when Lai bought us Paul.

He bought us at the top of the market, we went a Championship club opportunity.

Thanks mickd...it’s an age thing you know (or will know!). My point is that at the time the purchase actually completed I thought we were languishing somewhat and the price paid provided an investment opportunity. Clearly not the case ! Notwithstanding, I believe the club’s executive have not performed.

Let’s hope for a decent rebuild and some stability!
