I saw that on another forum, and you can only feel sympathy for the keeper. His first touch was bad, but he still had plenty of time to save face. At least he'll be near or at the top of any 'Football Bloopers' video on YouTube!

Italy, Belgium and now Holland through to the next round with a game to spare. Since increasing to 24, it's almost impossible for the big nations not to qualify for the finals, it's looking almost as easy for them to progress to the last 16. The group stage is way too predictable now. Would have been great if one of France, Germany and Portugal was definitely going out, but one will probably grab a 3rd place pass though. 36 games just to lose 8 nations. I'm feeling cheated by this format.
In other news, FIFA are threatening to chuck Norway out of the 2026 World Cup if they persist with protesting for Human Rights in Qatar and possibly boycotting 2022, if they qualify. Will any other country stand with Norway?

But it still gives teams the chance to recover if they have a slow start. Portugal finished 3rd in the group stages last tournament having drawn all 3. Look how that finished.
