    Agree. I’m hoping for a ‘new name’ eager to take on the role, rather than exploring the never ending rota of has-beens ?

    An interesting suggestion. His Fulham and Watford experience will be useful. Could do worse!

    The only place where he has done a of note is in China and that’s not saying much. If this Pereira bloke gets the job then it will be expected of him to kow-tow to the runt in China; a ‘yes, sir, three bags full, sir’ appointment.

    I worry about this and his lack of management experience, yes he has been #2 at a few teams but surely we should be fishing in a bigger pond for someone with a proven track record? I cannot take managing in China as acceptable experience, in fact it is so far removed from any decent standard as to for me anyway be a negative.
