    Darren Fletcher?

Ally Robertson has suggested that the appointment of Darren Fletcher as our new manager might be a slight risk but one worth taking. I, personally, didn't think of him, but after hearing Robertson's comments I thought, why not? He's got vast experience as a player, is extremely well respected, good connections, is young and could be one for the future and knows our club. We're not going to get a good, experienced manager, so why not give someone like him a chance. What have we got to lose?

Another one of your daily manager selections Leicester.

    I’ll look forward to tomorrow’s.

I'm not a fan of someone too inexperienced. Surely there is someone in a lower division who did a good job last season and is worth a chance? I'm not close enough to divisions 1 and 2 to make a suggestion.
I was against sacking Bilic because I wanted some continuity and expected to be relegated but thought he could bring us back stronger like at Norwich. Instead we are in a bigger mess than ever!

To be honest mick, I'm clutching at straws like everybody else. I only put forward some of the suggestions that have some appeal to me. As you probably know, Lampard or Wilder was my choice. After that I knew who I didn't want but was prepared to listen to suggestions that I thought may fit the bill. God only knows who we will actually end up with though.

Not having a director of football makes it absolutely essential that we have a manger who can wheel and deal with clubs at the top table, we need to be in a position to pick up the cream of the loan crop and draw players in, sadly picking from the lower leagues won’t provide this.

Another one for you mick. Apparently Ismael is now in the frame and has been approached. Don't know a great deal about him except that he's done well at Barnsley and is reputed to be somewhat direct in approach. Mind you, Big Sam had that reputation but I thought we played some decent stuff under him. Who knows?

Frankly, any manager wishing to build his reputation would be taking a big risk to come to the Hawthorns whilst the chinaman is holding the purse strings; mad would be the word I would use.
