The search for a striker - or two?

With Miller gone and Doyler the only feasible option at the moment you'd think Evatt would be after at least one striker in this window. Problem is, decent ones ain't cheap so he might well be looking at a young loanee with something to prove from a Premiership team a la Dapo last season.

But there is a case to suggest he might not. Not much of a case but a case nonetheless.
Evatt seems to think we can play like Barca who themselves have often used a false 9 approach and Evatt is big on wide men having already missed out on Greg Kiltie so having packed the midfield with decent ball players, is it possible he only wants back up for Doyler and will invest in wide players rather than an extra striker?

Bakayoko 25 years old, physical, reasonably quick fits the profile Evatt claimed he wanted but it will be interesting to see how and when he’s used.
