There are several things footie pundits do to wind me up:
* Trotting out the same old cliches week after week. Take note Alan Shearer.
* Cpmpletely failing to understand or appreciate BWFC (Colin Murray being the exception)
* Pluralising players names e.g. yer Kanes, yer Salahs, yer Gascoignes etc. How many f****** Kanes do they think there are?
* Tactical "analysis" that only focusses on one team's set up without taking into consideration what the other team are doing to counter

Enter Emma Hayes - a shining light amongst donkeys in ITV's Euro punditry panel.
She knows football. She knows tactics. She doesn't mince her words. She tells it like it is and more importantly gets to the heart of the matter. And she clearly doesn't give a monkeys about telling folk what they want to hear or her personal popularity.

No doubt she'll shuffle off back to management when the Euros are over, but I can only hope that yer Shearers, yer Linekers and yer Pougatches get new scriptwriters and up their game as we'll be stuck with their drivel for the foreseeable.
