Not an appointment for footballing romantics but he's definitely not Tony Pulis. His teams are fit, organised and motivated. Besides he hasn't been appointed yet, bit early for a meltdown .
Agree...but difficult to become interested until any appointment is confirmed.

Watch the playoff games V Swansea, chalk and cheese, I would be truly gutted if he gets the job. FOL

Did you watch Barnsley play Chelsea in the FA Cup? I didn't see the playoffs against Swansea but they played well for large chunks of the game against Chelsea. Made them sweat for the win. With better finishing Barnsley would have walloped them though.

Your point 68 about fitness is absolute key!!! Look at Leeds this year compared to us - they were super fit and we were knackered most games! Fitness is everything and Grant could come good and hopefully Diangana will too!

It’s funny isn’t it that Tony Pulis is one of our most successful managers next to Steve Clarke for league positions. It seems we either have successful pragmatism or free flowing relegation 😂

To be honest I wouldn't be disappointed with this appointment if it happened.
A far better option than Appleton, McInnes or the bloke from China.
Ismael was third on my wishlist after Wilder and Wagner.
But we haven't signed him yet and probably won't.

I'd be interested to hear Acido's views on this speculation.
