    I have never fully taken to that badge, the tangerine and white triangles forming a turned square has never done it for me. I'm sure there is a reason behind it. The circle, the lion are fine, maybe even a wee shield instead would be good. (IMO) Apologies , slightly off topic but the simpler the scarf the better for me.

    My first United strip with the v neck and black hoops had the badge on the left. Class.

    I think the club were told that they had to stop using a shield on their badge due to ancient heraldic laws. This led to the new style badge being used.
