Check him out on Wikipedia Stripy.

He played games for Kings Lynn and 8 games in 2021, scoring one, for the Spireites.

P.S. Chesterfied fans don't sem overly impressed with him - a bit of a 'meh' player...

    See : Bob's Board Chesterfield

Yeah we shouldn't really be signing a backup for anyone, what's the point? The new lad has to be as good as or even better than Wootton/Rodders. Since when are you not allowed to have three good strikers competing for a place? Surely that just drives the standards up? The Danes can afford it.

This has to be "Scoop" being fed yet more terrible information? Bearing in mind rumours are not exactly forthcoming, even from more reputable sources, he is currently 0 for 2, this is either the club trying to put pressure their actual target or trolling Chesterfield. I'd personally go with the former or it's just bull

Because that isn’t how we work and haven’t really since the Danes come in. I’m sure we’ll try and sign someone as good or even better than Wootton or Roberts, but they’re probably going to have a similar kind of profile to Wootton and Roberts when we signed them, as this Mitchell lad does.

Who says the new striker will be a backup to Wootton? He could be the main striker with Wootton as the lay off man.

Mitchell has signed, presumably announced shorty - his agency put it on Twitter then swiftly deleted, presumably having been told they’d jumped the gun haha.

Hopefully this isn't the attacking option that "we have been so patient with and worked hard to get" that IB mentioned the other day.

Agreed, Mitchell is a big lad, 6ft 2in I believe and big lads are always useful, but.......................
