It looks like Liverpool is going to lose it's World Heritage status over, in part, the design and location of Everton's new stadium along the waterfront (I didn't know it even had it, must be all the bombed chippies ).

In separate news Sheffield is wondering where it stands with respect to The Hillsborough Carbuncle and Rotherham are still blighted by the G&C fiasco.

I think it got the heritage status because of the high proportion of Neanderthals still living there
