Following the non league restructure, Wisbech now find themselves in the Northern prem midland league with Soham Town Rangers, Histon, Cambridge City, and Corby. Theres some great games in there, it almost an anglian league.
Halesowen are in there too, Wisbech fought a famous cup tie with them many years ago when Halesowen had the Joinson twins, and the Joinsons did have a telepathic understanding.
Its a shame Halesowen have produced nothing since then. I went through phases in Brum of watching various non league teams, the Grove, Halesowens ground is a lovely place.
A summers evening, with the lights on, cant be beaten, and at Wisbech i can get a burger chips and coffee for a fiver. At Cambridge i have to deliver payment by armoured truck, with a man wearing a helmet, to deposit bullion.
