    Aye, we thought that too. He was totally anonymous in his rare appearances for Dale and he had a right strop too when he was warming up as a sub one game and somebody else was put on before him.

    He was very good for Bolton but appears to be one of those players who has a decent spell and then just drops lower and lower never to be seen again.

    Regardless, best of luck next season (expect when you play us lol)

    Blimey indeed, I had no idea Rochdale were relegated last season. What happened there then?

    Anyway, Beech worked with Clough during that spell with Rochdale and apparently had such a splendid time in training this was instrumental in him signing.

    I wouldn't necessarily read too much into a nine game loan spell two or three years ago. There's clearly a player in there somewhere.

    Maybe stepping down to tier four and having a manager who believes in him is what his career needs.
