Hunt’s home debut v Brighton........Albion 1-0 down and Hunt was a having a mare.
I spent most of the game berating him and did my usual trick of leaving the Brummie Road with 15 minutes to go to watch from the bottom of Halfords Lane.
By the time I got back in we were winning 3-1 and Andy had a hat trick 🤭
3 in 7 minutes, I think it’s still the quickest hat trick in our history?
What a class player the lad was.
I respected him even more when he packed up for the summer on the day we had to beat Charlton to stay up under Megson.
He blazed a sitter into the Brummie Rd and just smiled at us Albion fans 😏
