Jake Kean mentioned he’s registered as a player and doesn’t seem to think we’ll be getting another in, especially as we don’t have one on the bench, so I’ll drop him in as the 3rd. Interesting to hear as well that Brooks could be loaned out but still train with us. Hadn’t realised it worked like that with local clubs. In IB’s pre Derby message, mentioned again that the plan is to loan Palmer out so up to date squad.

It’s currently a really small squad. 22 if you include all of Brooks, Kean and Palmer.

We know we are looking for another forward and that may well be it for contracted players. Beyond that, I can see us using the loan system as and when needed to cover injuries.

McGregor? Burchnall seems to rate him by having him in the squad and team for the friendlies.

Not really sure whether CBs looks one light. Chicksen could play there I suppose.

Will be interesting what IB's first choice 11 is. I reckon we'll see quite a bit of squad rotation and earlyish substitutions.
