hows it capped at 500 yet murrayfield let in 16,000?
From the official site. With the Premier Sports League Cup due to kick off with our visit to Kelty Hearts on Friday 9 July, staff have been working hard to ensure the safe return to Tannadice for United fans for the home group stage fixtures against Elgin City (14/07) and Arbroath (17/07).
Based on current Scottish Government guidelines, it is likely that capacity for each fixture will be capped at 500 spectators. In anticipation, a ballot is being held for current season ticket holders who renewed during the Loyalty Period. Successful season ticket holders will receive an email offering them the opportunity to purchase a match ticket. We remain hopeful that restrictions will be eased further before the ties and that we can offer more supporters the opportunity to purchase a ticket.
Prices for both these games have been set at the following:
Adults - £12.50
Concessions - £7.50 (Under-18s, 65+, Students and Disabled)
Due to the ongoing restrictions in numbers allowed in the stadium, we are currently unable to offer Under-16 and Under-12 season ticket holders a free ticket for one of the home group stage matches but will look to provide other compensation to them in due course.
After getting Scotland tickets in a ballot I'm hoping my good luck continues!
hows it capped at 500 yet murrayfield let in 16,000?
or does capacity come in to it maybes?
Anyone get an email? Apparently they have been sent out
Murrayfield was a test I think. Level 2 when this game comes about so 500. A few days after the Arbroath game it goes up to 2000 I think? Then once we get to Aug 10th its full house (technically).
I received one for the Elgin match on the 14th. Just pinged them an email to see if this also includes my son and father as we purchase the tickets together.
