    Looks like they've only loosened the noose as opposed to withdrawing it. It appears that we can sign 5 but the EFL has applied some stringent wage caps.

    According to John Percy, of the 5 we're allowed to sign on strictly capped wages, Curt, Wis and Morrison are at the head of the queue.

    I reckon Mengi could be #4.

    No idea who the 5th will be.

    Just seen a report on the DET which shows that 19 of the current squad "count" in the EFL's relaxed position on "players of professional standing" which means we can sign 4 on 12 or 6 month contracts depending on whether they are currently free agents or loans.
