Some of his long passes yesterday were outstanding and if it was a better player on end of them i.e. not Saka they'd probably have scored from one
I use legend lightly with most players but he is no matter what happens in the future unless he goes to SCUM at any point.

May have had the best all around Euro of any England, or any player, for that matter. If they will it will be the stuff of legends.

Perhaps but like they say you can lead a horse to water but can't make it drink it. Full credit to both as he has worked hard to get where he is. He doesn't go in mad like he used to huge plus. The only thing that lacks in his game for his skills is Goals, If he had that then he would be a legend.

Phillips has had a really good, steady Euros, seems to get better as the match goes by, and has proved a few " doubters " wrong.
Plays in the unfashionable DM role, so will never grab the headlines like a Sterling / Kane / Grealish, but has been a major part of Englands success.
Looks quite decent when playing further forward - players permitting, could he do this at ER.

Thought he played quite well, looked pretty calm and confident. Won’t do him any harm playing for his country, only going to get better.
