    What a tragedy, died of brain cancer at 68 years old.

    Only knew him from ESPNFC here in the states, as his playing days were before my time. But he was well liked by his colleagues. RIP

    He had , what was described at the time, as he worst ever soccer injury. He got a kick in the goin against Roma that opened him up like a ripe tomato apparently. Not nice!

    Aww no guys (is that true ?), Paul Mariner ehh!.
    A great player and I will never forget that Paul scored the goal that took us to the 1982 World cup finals.
