    Premier League 21/22

After my success with Italy in the Euro's, it would be ungenerous of me to pass on my wisdom.

I'm backing Manchester United and have taken 9/1 (I'm severely limited by Victorian betting laws here), I suspect you may be able to get a better price in the competitive UK market.

Anyway, I'm no Manchester United fan, it's a fully objective decision.

I reckon Sancho is an excellent signing and will help both take the pressure off Fernandes and bring the best out of him. I'm also gambling on the Varane deal going through, I reckon he's a top class defender and will both combine well with Maguire and help him improve.

Chelsea don't convince me. On their day they can beat anyone but their results at the end of the season were erratic.

Liverpool have lost Wijnaldum and there are question marks over their defence still.

Manchester City's squad looks a little light, with some aging players and some youngsters. Gundogan's goals won the title for them last year, I wouldn't count on him being as prolific this term.

I can't bet on that here, it's too obscure.
