    Good choice. I've done similar (in business), given a talented waster some genuine responsibility, and seen it pay off by the person growing

    As with AF, it's a ploy I've used in the past at work and in sport.

    Give the big mouth some responsibility. Give the one with confidence issues a boost.

    We all know of at least some of Tom's issues so I won't expand in this thread.

    It's either a stroke of genius by Wazza or it will guarantee a train wreck. Here's hoping it's the former.

    The guys got talent we know that, he does need to be the stand out player this season, let hope he keeps in form and injury free.

    The other thing this does, which must be a further confidence boost, I’d say to the fellah ‘if you’re fit, you’re playing’ which means he doesn’t have to spend a week or whatever fretting after a so so performance (although let’s hope there are few)

    last season his so so performances were 90% of his games......
