Are the Tories trying to turn the UK into the next North Korea?

So we all know that our personal data is collected, sold and used for a wide range of legitimate and non-legitimate purposes e.g. to influence what we buy, how we vote or simply to scam us.
Of course, people who have been influenced by targeted marketing/suggestion/threat will always maintain that they made the resulting decisions or formed their opinions of their own free will - just as people who've been hypnotised and made to walk around quacking like a duck don't realise it until they've "woken up".

Now it seems that the (optional) NHS app is becoming the gateway to the "freedom passport" which will be required for foreign travel - and potentially to enter pubs, clubs and restaurants i.e if you want any kind of life worth living you're going to have to a) get jabbed and b) stick your medical data in a very public domain.
Very Big Brother in itself, but that comes on the back of the campaign to leave the EU, the "One Britain One Nation" song for schoolkids to chant every morning, the campaign to suppress the "woke" media, the rise of nationalism and xenophobia and the biggest collection of personal data in history under the auspices of protecting us against Covid.

Seems to me that we are heading down the path to 1984. How long will it be before any criticism of the government is branded "unpatriotic" and made a criminal offence? How long before populist denigration of "woke" folk turns into the Killing Fields solution provided by Khmer Rouge?

Propaganda, control of the media, xenophobia, nationalism etc were the tools of the Nazi party in the 1930s and the post war North Korean leadership, and with access to personal information and media contact being at an all-time high isn't anyone else concerned that personal freedom is being undermined like never before - all in the name of personal freedom?

Stop quacking and wake up folks.

    Check your mobile phone.

Go to Settings and scroll down to see if "Exposure Notification" has appeared.
This is allegedly to ping you if you "come into contact" with anyone who has tested positive for Covid.
    a) I didn't give consent for this to be put on my phone
    b) There's no indication of what defines "coming into contact" - 1 mtr? 5 mtrs? Same building? Same County?

    Freedom?

Criminal Justice Act is a cracker.
Media control, compulsory tagging of thieves and burglars, the return of stop and search and carte blanche for the Riot Squad to hospitalise anyone who wants to complain about anything ever.

It must be ronery at the top.
