    Jose Sa

Confirmed on the Wolves site comes in as replacement for Rui Patricio… well publicised that this would happen, sad to lose Rui but Sa sounds a worthy replacement… aggressive coming out for crosses and great distribution, hopefully he can dive and catch too…

And still, on 'Wolves News Now' there are articles telling us what goalkeepers we are after despite the signing. That site is becoming less credible by the second!

I have bumped this thread up. What a signing he is proving to be. He has to be in the top few keepers in the Premier League. He has fitted in well, the crowd seem to love him and already he has his own song. I saw a clip of him riding his bicycle along the pavement in Tetenhall, waving to some supporters. A real character, who looked cross with himself after that free kick went in against Southampton. His distribution is well above Patricio, and the control of his penalty area has enabled Cody et al to play further forward as well.

We've certainly been blessed with great goalkeepers over the last few years. I think Sa wins it over Patricio due to his quick and accurate distribution. On more than a few occasions Rui's kicking led to a throw in and it was very rare he threw the ball to create a quick counter.

Oh, and Sa already has an assist.

Ruddy is still a more than capable alternative also.

Abbo, and Sausage', I couldn't agree with you more. Sa has proven to be an excellent exchange for Rui since arriving at the Mol'. Both are great shot-stoppers, but for me, Sa has something extra about him. With 'keepers we've been blessed !!!
