Sounds like a barrel of laughs.
I've never understood the attraction of entertainment which brings you down.
Does anybody else what this on Mondays,I think that it's in its third series now but never fails to bring a tear to my eye,I felt especially sad for that old lady who lived in Sheerness and never had any more children and blamed it on having given up her only child,if I could have given her a hug I would have done

Me neither, i actively avoid cruelty, grief, heart break, disasters etc. As a teacher once said, what you dont know, doesnt hurt. By observing such stuff, you activate your own pain.
I know that it's crap but I've loved watching it for years now, there's usually a happy ending but sometimes there isn't,it's like listening to sad songs and I'm never more happy then when I'm sad, give me a tearjerker anytime
Just for you Chalky.

Soz uncle Chalky lol, but I thought this thing abaart Notts Florist fans and long lost family etc, was very dodgy sounding.
And speaking of dodgy shows/series, can I recommend 'Inside number 9' here lol. If anybody is still a fan from the League of gentleman series, then they will surely know what Im on about here lol.
And btw, heres Steve winning a more than deserved award for his role in one of my favourite episodes (Bernie Clifton's dressing room).

Grief and sorrow never really goes away, it just goes into hiding. And in romantic relationships, what could have been. Are you hurting chalky?
Grief is bad, but it does deepen everything, and makes us value everything we have, because what we have will be gone, eventually.
You trying to upset me howoldboy?
Abba did some wonderful songs and The Winner Takes It All is definitely up there but the Mama Mia version? Has there been a radioactive leak in Cumbria or summat!
The Day Before You Came is one of their best with the lyrics sounding like somebody was just singing about their boring day until you read between the lines, class, sheer class
I've given so much in the past but I'm still destined to live on my own despite my many efforts,I'm never more happy than sitting in the early hours with a nice bottle of JD listening to K Tel's Music To Slit Your Wrists To Vol 3,one day it will get me Frank believe me,and as for love..
I've looked at love from both sides now
From give and take and still somehow
It's long illusions I recall
I really don't know
I really don't know love at all
