Of course this would happen. . .

His time at Newcastle was mixed, to say the least.
But Joselu - the man who departed United for £2.5million in the summer of 2019 - looks to have bagged himself a big money La Liga move.
Several outlets in Spain have reported that Sevilla are on the verge of signing the forward to replace another former Newcastle man Luuk de Jong, who could be on his way back to PSV Eindhoven.
Joselu scored 11 goals for Alaves last year as they finished in 16th place and was rated by Sevilla boss Julen Lopetegui as the biggest aerial threat in La Liga.
And now the same coach is looking to replace de Jong with the ex-Magpie.
Joselu's release clause is a hefty £17.2million - so there will need to be, in Marca's words, "negotiation" over the striker's fee.
Fresh quotes from Joselu's agent confirm the ex-Newcastle strikers intentions: "For us, Sevilla is the best option," he told Sevilla ABC. "Joselu is clear that he wants to leave Deportivo Alavés this summer, he believes that his time there has ended. We think we have a good opportunity right now to get out of there and that is what we are looking for. We think that it is the opportune moment and we are going to fight for that. Let's see what happens, we are talking with Sevilla."
In his final year at Alaves, they would likely sell. But considering Newcastle paid £5million and took a 50% hit on the forward three years later, any inflated fee will be met with as much surprise in the North East as de Jong's status as a Europa League match winner was.

£17M for Hosses Poo.....
Holy cheesy chips!!!!
It's a reverse Joelinton!
Not a great player for us by any means but for the price we paid I liked him - we've had much worse signings.
Joselu was dreadful....
Other players failings don't make him a better player....
Waste of a shirt when he was here!
£40 mill for Joelinton is one of the most baffling transfer fees in the history of the game. He didn't even standout in the Bundesliga so whoever thought he was worth that is a complete idiot. £20 mill is still way too much
