Average age of the team is dropping like a stone, guess that's a good thing.

It's a bit odd to keep getting players rejected by Harrogate, but hope we've got ourselves a good un, more than that I hope he can do the job IB has earmarked for him
''In the role we want Ed to play, you’re the pivot of the whole team. You have to understand space, where to position yourself to receive the ball and the defensive areas to cover. You’re also responsible for dictating the play, so it’s a hugely important position. We feel Ed ticks all the boxes to do a great job for us. Positionally he’s very, very good, he’s comfortable on the ball and has a lovely left foot – as well as a good physical presence.”

    So Doyle's direct replacement.

Our new assistant head coach should be able to help him with that.

At 6'0"", hopefully he will be able to help us win more balls in the air, in the middle of the park, something we lacked with Doyler and Reeves. Plus with a defensive background he should be up to the physical battles. Looks a perfect player for IB and MD to bring on.
Would be great now if we could sign Bennett, who, after watching him play the second half against Coalville, looks a very tidy player.

Get Bennett signed, even after a 45 minute display, looks quality for this league

Yes he played well against Coalville BUT he was bang average in the Grimsby team that he was relegated with last season !

I hope he gets another game or two, against better opposition, before Notts think about offering him a contract..
