    Legal reasons.

"The player, who Telegraph Sport cannot name for legal reasons, was arrested last week by Greater Manchester Police and was released on bail pending further enquiries."

Why do they persist with this 'legal reasons' bollox, it took me two clicks and ten seconds on the internet last night to find out who the player is.

Agreed sinkov it is lunacy to think persons will not be identified when there are no legal restrictions abroad to naming them. Even in Iceland it seems.

My moral compass is not set that high, but I constantly speculate as to why an adult stores "images" of children on a personal computer.

I quite like the idea of how the Chinese treat such individuals. It's a lethal combination of kneeling down, a blindfold and a single bullet to the back of the head.

My only problem is that in this country you are assumed innocent until found guilty. However in these type of cases and with media speculation it seems that it is the reverse.

That assumption disappeared long ago barrie, and not just as a result of media speculation.

I am considering the legal redress of enforcing vaccines to allow me entry to Turf Moor, even though I bought season tickets when no such order was in place.

Ominous warnings are now hitting the media - our Vaccines minister Nadhim Zahawi said vaccine passports could soon apply to large outdoor events like football stadiums.

I have always wanted to personally sue a Tory Government...

You could also sue HM Opposition for aiding and abetting, double bubble.

Starmer has already come out and said the Labour Party will oppose vaccine passports and opt for PCR tests instead, so jog on mon ami.

I think you'll find HM Opposition voted to allow the extension of Emergency Powers, which allows the Tory government to do as they please. So you'll struggle to win a case against government for doing what they are legally entitled to do, I'd go for Labour in the courts mon ami , without their complicity none of this could happen. I can give you the number of Sue, Grabbit and Run if you like, I think Starmer worked for them once, until they sacked him for incompetence and he found more lucrative employment in the public sector.

I bought and paid for the season tickets in May, with no mention of vaccine passports to gain entry into the stadium.

I will not be coerced into taking a jab I do not want, especially when people around me who are double jabbed can still pass on the bloody virus.

What a f*cking $hitfest "Freedom Day" turned out to be.
