Kellend Watts to get a squad place

Firstly - let me preface this with I've only heard good things, he's looked good when he's played in friendlies and he looked good out on loan.

However, the reality is, this is just going to be used as "he's like a new signing". He'll be the Lejeune replacement.

More like he'll be another local young'un who Bruce will treat like shit because he's bitter that, despite being a local himself, the fans hate him.

But he fails to see that in spite of being a local the fans dislike him for very good reasons. Just as they didn't want Carver in charge either.

For example. It would be better to have a successful Spaniard in charge rather than a buffoon of a Geordie.

Who was it Pardew said we couldn't compete with the likes of?

    It was Southampton.

Now we can't compete with Brentford.

    It's a proud moment...

Good luck to Kellend Watts. I hope he hits the ground running because with a first name like that, it’ll take seconds for some wise crack to replace the K !
