What do we even need now in terms of positions? Right Back, Centre Mid, Winger (can play either side ideally) and a Striker? We won't be far off.

Right Back, yes... Shaun Rooney would be fine.
Centre - Mid, yes.. Season long loan.
Striker yes definitely.
Utility Player, one that can cover two positions.
Don't think we need another winger because I can't see PW starting the game with two.

The vagueness of the MacDonald situation, and given his previous, I am worried that it may be more illness than injury. I genuinely hope that's not the case.
