Match Thread vs Telford 24.07.21 [PSF]

No crowd segregation today due to the number of advance tickets sold.

We must have played numerous friendlies against small non-league clubs in recent times where home and away fans have been mixed, but probably not in a ground with proper stands like Telford's.

They must have sold a few, as their ground is nigh on a 6,500 capacity.

In rehab, seems his injury is worse than they thought.

Ahhh, Lacey never got a mention in Burchs', Telford preamble. Now we know why.

''Incredible support from the Magpies. Told they've sold more than 3,150 season tickets already. Club are very pleased with those numbers''.

Well done to all of us!!

Telford journalist sums up as "Not the greatest spectacle but the #bucks holding their own against the visitors from the league above."

    Half-time verdict
Notts quite comfortable in defence and midfield, but they've struggled to open up the Telford defence. Best chance fell to Andre Wright who skied over from six yards.

Francis and Taylor both the standout players so far. O'Brien has also looked decent.

Another game in which Sam has done nowt, although I appreciate that our starting lining will look nothing like that.

Not sure why McCrory keeps playing if we have no intention of re-signing him.
