Agree that the vaccine will not completely prevent all double jabbed from becoming infected but the severity of the infection seems to be much reduced with a significantly reduced chance of a visit to intensive care.
    They are freely available!

A week past Monday I as in a branch of Boots the Chemist when a young woman came in asking how to get a supply of lateral flow tests. The pharmacist handed her a form to complete and sign. She was then handed a package containing a supply of lateral flow tests.

Our leaders have been gaming the system to achieve what they think will be seen as "doing something". Seems to me that their messages are wearing thin and this latest nonsense about key workers is a classic example of the same flawed approach. Everyone who is double jabbed should be back at work and carrying on as pre covid normal. Get pinged the details of the pinged incident should be clearly explained and in particular exactly how close and for how long you were beside and within 2m of the person who caused you to be pinged. Of course that places a responsibility on you to act reasonably but a lateral flow test that shows up no virus seems to me to fit that duty. Given to you free and readily available, it seems to me that that is the least we should expect from Westminster and Holyrood.
If you think this country is going back to how it was before you have overdosed on the positivity pills.

Not at all. The narrative will change. People are moving to your side of the argument, I think, about government incompetence and interference, so I think that it will go back to normal. Civil liberties are a minefield and rather than try to create a new normal I think the politicians will find a way to say job done, back to normal.
If by this country you actually mean Scotland I think the SNP know that they are not in a better place with electorate than 2014 and they are actually quite happy with their pretend Parliament and Boris in Westminster. They will not be able to hold us to account any more than Boris can..

Admire your positive outlook Bcram but have to disagree......Johnson wants out now I think, too much responsibility and did not have the balls to oppose sage.

I think you will texting exactly the same thing in March and April I'm afraid......this winter is the final battle, we lockdown our way of life is finished.

I know it might be hard for you to believe that your current opinion is likely, in my view, to become mainstream. Things change, they always do.
