    League Cup seeded teams

Teams who will be seeded in the League Cup Draw

    1 The Rangers
    2 Celtic
    3 Hibs
    4 Sheep
    5 Fermers
    6 Fun
    7.....
    8......

Hertz if they beat Icey Tea by 2
St Mirren if they beat Plastic Whistle by more than 2 or 3-1. (2-0 means tie with United)

Dundee United if Hertz or St Mirren fail to hit their target

Will never agree with teams being seeded in a cup draw. Group stages are bad enough at being favoured towards the Premiership teams. It should be a free for all at this stage at the very least.

I'd luv to see everyone in the same big hat from the first round (not gonna happen I Know) but would be interesting , hmmm.

I'd also like to see a Grand Pricks race, with every driver driving the best /same car. Nice wee leveler. Yet again... not gonna happen.

Might not be too long before promotion and relegation are binned on the strength of what the "bigger" clubs can bring to the table financially and merit a place in the league, hopefully not.

You never can tell in Football tho, strange things CAN happen

Ok can sort of understand why the first five are seeded top five from scotland last season and playing in europe but why are the funny lot seeded 14th best team in scotland last season can't think when they last played in europe and their domestic cup history is pish 1910 big cup and 1973 diddie cup why the fu.k are they 6th seeds?

Because they won their group with the most points and best goal difference, albeit they were awarded a 3-0 win vs Ross County.

Yes that narrow win v East Fife may come back to haunt us,we had every opportunity to score more that night but to be fair after winning 4 out of 4 i thought we were certain to be seeded,FACT.

The win in Dingwall was massive Brian, three assists from McMullan and a solo pitch invasion from Noah just topped off a famous night for the Dees.

2-0 St Mirren would put them above us as well as 3-1 or more. The tiebreakers are GD, then goals scored, then away goals scored.

Ok got it that makes sense bit of luck with the ross game but fair enough I would take it. Really we could have done better if we were not trying out young lads but got to hope we draw them in next round they are by far the weakest link in the seeded teams.

They are not really 6th seed but one of the eight seeded teams guaranteed. If Hearts and St Mirren won by enough they would be 8th seed and we would be unseeded. All the seeding means is the eight seeds are in one pot the other eight teams another and an open draw is then conducted one from each pot per tie. No-one thinks they are suddenly the sixth best team in Scotland.
