I may be missing the point here, but. I'm finding the statue for Jim a tad embarrassing. 30k already "slowly" donated is brilliant, but. WTF are we asking for donations? This should have been a given years ago . I know the club etc are counting pennies, But ................ FFS , if it wasn't for him.......etc etc........ (maybe just me) :/

Strange how things do to with money works. How many ex players who learned their trade from him would it take to pay off the remainder? Alex Ferguson did a short plea for this cause which was good but, he could have made a donation high enough to make it possible at the swipe of a pen they were good friends ( nemesis) after all. As usual it comes down to fans emotional blackmail to provide!!

Totally agree. I am genuinely embarrassed by how hard, and how long this is taking. it is only 70k . it is not like we are begging for a new stand.
