    But a Lamborghini as a player.

    Which was a damn sight more than McInnes ( the boring b’astard) ever was.


    I never hated McInnes like I hated Calderwood but they were prety close on the boredom stakes.

    Sunday . Early Eighties. Sitting in the bar at the Commodore Hotel , Stoney. Lunchtime-ish. Don's team bus pulls up , McGhee jumps out. Vaults the wee fence into hotel car park. And gets into his own car.........MGBGT.

    Even then , that was a hairdressers car !!!

    MGBGT , proper n nae " rubber bumper" was and always will be a classic.
    Near bought one few year back but daughter rolled her frigging Clio at same time and needed car for college . .

    Some personalities in that team though,which only serves to show what a fantastic job Fergie did.
