There are worse places for human rights, but they are big enough for us (apparently) not to care. Anyone tried starting up a new political party in China recently?

Not that many political systems around the world that seem to be very good at the moment. Canada and NZ seem to at least try to engage the electorates

Ah because, in your opinion they are not as bad as China, makes them and the move OK... am sure there are many boxing fans also agree with you...bizarre reasoning but hey heaven forbid anyone should disagree with the font of all...

What the f00k are you on (or on about)????

There is nothing you or I can do about the systems of government that apply to countries where ex-Leeds players might end up in. My post was pointing up the fact that there are single-party dictatorships the world over, but insofar as China goes we in the west (at least as consumers), are happy to ignore that country's abysmal human rights record as long as we can continue to buy cheap goods, and as business leaders (including football club owners), curry favour with Chinese authorities purely because of the huge market the Chinese population represent for our goods and services.

So no, the Saudis are just as bad as the Chinese, we just choose to turn the other cheek more readily for our Asian Market opportunity. As for the move, he goes where he wants to go, just glad it wasn't THAT club. Clear enough, pumpkin?

    China, Myanmar, Russia,

It is much easier for people to point fingers at Middle East because they're arabic countries.

We all turn a blind eye to Chinese sweat shops and human rights there but act like they are still beheading people in the town square in middle east, absolute nonsense.

I bet people still think women can't drive and are 'forced' to wear Hijabs
